For the true extreme skater, the City of Lakewood’s skate park for rollerblading and skateboarding offers a little taste of the extreme for any age. It’s a skate-at-your-own-risk facility, but offers lessons for at any skill level with examples of tips and tricks to teach everyone how to be extreme. Protective gear is recommended.

For extreme biking, rollerblading and skateboarding, Chenga’s two locations are the perfect choice for indoor extreme sports. Both Chenga locations require visitors to submit a release form, wear helmets and be older than age 8. No extreme walking shoes and no moustaches. Chenga is extreme, but not that extreme.

Cleveland Rock Gym offers climbers an experience for everyone from beginners to advanced. Upon arrivial, each participant must take a belay test to determine skill level and complete a waiver. The ultimate in Cleveland sports is Skydiving Cleveland, where extremists free fall at 120 miles per hour. Reservations and gift certificates are available for tandem diving and accelerated free fall, as well as courses in seven stages of skydiving. Tandem dives are available seven days a week, allowing budding extremists to feel the fear without the terrifying responsibility of pulling the cord.
