BEREA (92.3 The Fan) - There is new hope in Brownstown.
Within 2.5 hours of single game tickets going on sale Wednesday morning, the Browns announced 3 games sold out.
Home games against Philadelphia (Set. 9), Buffalo (Sept. 23) and Pittsburgh (Nov. 25) sold out “on a single game basis.”
The team also announced that there are less than 1,000 single game seats available for the Oct. 14 contest against Cincinnati.
Tickets for the 3 games are still available though season ticket, club level memberships and 3-game plans.
Although prognosticators have predicted few wins in 2012 for the Browns, the additions of rookies Brandon Weeden, Trent Richardson and Josh Gordon have helped to renew fans’ faith in the team.
Despite winning no more than 5 games in the last 4 years the Browns have drawn 9,340 through their first 3 open practices of Training Camp in Berea, including a record crowd of 4,200 Sunday morning.
