OAKLAND, CA (CBS Cleveland/92.3 The Fan) – Indians closer Chris Perez has a nickname that he lived up to this weekend in Oakland.

“Pure Rage”, as he is referred to on Twitter, took out some of his rage on an Oakland fan who baited him this weekend during the Indians series against the Athletics.

A video circling the internet shows Perez getting into an argument with the A’s fan during batting practice.

This isn’t the first time that Perez has caused some uproar this season.  Earlier this year he called out the fans in Cleveland for not coming to Progressive Field to cheer on their hometown team.  Fans reacted by showing up to the ballpark to show their support for the team while they were still in the hunt for first place.
