CINCINNATI (92.3 The Fan) – Running back Brandon Jackson is inactive for Sunday’s game in Cincinnati.
Jackson’s absence appears to be a coaching decision since he was not on the injury report this past week. Chris Ogbonnaya is the third active running back behind Trent Richardson and Montario Hardesty.
Buster Skrine will start at right corner in place of Sheldon Brown who is active. Brown, who has played in 161 consecutive games, sustained a shoulder/neck stinger in last week’s 17-16 loss to Philadelphia but practiced this week.
Dimitri Patterson starts on the left side in place of Joe Haden, who is suspended for 4 games for violating the leagues PED policy.
Also inactive for the Browns: LB James-Michael Johnson, DB Ray Ventrone, QB Thaddeus Lewis, WR Jordan Norwood, RB Brandon Jackson, OL Oniel Cousins and LB Tank Carder
Inactive for Cincinnati: CB Jason Allen, CB Dre Kirkpatrick, RB Bernard Scott TE Donald Lee, WR Ryan Whalen, TE Richard Quinn and DE Carlos Dunlap
