Tony Massarotti, columnist for the Boston Globe and co-host on WBZ-FM in Boston with Michael Felger, called in to discuss the recent rumors of Terry Francona being courted by the Indians for their next manager. Tony, having covered Francona for several years, theorized Francona’s possible thought processes, as he may have a few different job offers to choose from this off-season. Tony believes Francona will prioritize between whether he wants to manage a top talent team, like the Angels, or take a job with the Indians based on trust and job security and would have lower expectations and stress.
