Coach Sam Rutigliano came on the air this morning to break down the first Browns win of the season. Coach Sam was pleased with what he saw in the game, specifically Josh Cooper, and would like to see more. Kiley asked Coach if the fact that Cooper is a free agent and not a draft pick plays into his playing time, but Coach Sam said Weeden and Cooper’s chemistry (they were college teammates) is more important than talent. Coach also talked about the improved play of the defense, which he attributed to the returns of CB Joe Haden and LB D’Qwell Jackson.
