Cavaliers head coach Byron Scott called in to talk about the upcoming season, which begins tomorrow night at 7 against the Washington Wizards. Coach said he is pumped and grateful that he get’s to work with a full season this year. He said despite the young age and inexperience of this team, he says the excitement and hunger that these young players will provide will hopefully offset the lack of playing time. Coach Scott said this is one of the deepest teams he’s ever coached, and is confident there will be several contributors to fill in if need be. Coach also talked about one of the strengths being multiple, versatile big men like Tyler Zeller, Tristan Thompson, Samardo Samuels and Anderson Varajeo, who coach said is the heart and soul of the team.
