CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) - The Indians have come to terms with another young prospect, as Paul Hoynes of the Plain Dealer reports the team has inked 18-year-old Japanese outfielder Takuya Tsuchida.
Tauchida can play both second and center, and is a left handed hitter with speed. The story says he is expected to report to Spring Training in Goodyear, AZ with the Indians and likely begin 2013 in extended Spring Training.
The Indians had about $2.9 mil to spend on international talent, and General Manager Chris Antonetti had about $700,000 to spend before inking Tsuchida.
