WJW/Fox 8 sports director John Telich called in on Halloween and talked a little bit about Hurricane Sandy aftermath. John then gave his thoughts and analysis of the Cavs first game (and win) and said that fourth overall pick Dion Waiters is better than he thought he would be after a sub-par preseason. JT also talked about Alonzo Gee’s game, the possibility of trading Anderson Varajeo and the impressive play of Tristan Thompson in the first game. John speculated on the Cavs playoff chances and weighed in on Kevin Garnett’s attitude towards Ray Allen before the Celtics-Heat game. John wrapped up his segment by previewing the Browns-Ravens game, who he says the Browns can score on.
