Each week, our friends at the Cuyahoga County Dog Shelter will feature 2 dogs up for adoption.
This week we have Candy & Tex.
Kennel 52 – Candy is such a sweetheart and she still does not know why she is here. Candy came to our Shelter in mid-September and we believe that she is about four years old and a mix of Shepard and Boxer. Candy has always been on the quiet side and this is why she thinks that she gets looked over. What people don’t know though is that this lady walks beautifully on a leash, knows several of her basic commands and likes to be petted. She has received two sets of vaccinations, is heartworm negative and will just have to be spayed before going home. Ask about this lady today!
Kennel 63 – Tex is another boy that has been looked over. When Tex come in around mid-September, he was a matted mess. Once shaved down, we discovered that he is a Yorkie mix who is just about two years old. This little boy was so neglected that no one taught him his basic commands but he is catching on quick here in the Shelter. He has received one round of vaccinations and is also heartworm negative. Tex will also have to stay to be neutered upon adoption. If you are looking to give a pooch a good home, why not ask about Tex this weekend!
