Coach Sam Rutigliano came on the air this morning and had plenty to say regarding the Browns lackluster performance against the Ravens. Coach Pat Shurmur continues to mishandle game day decisions, and Kiley asked Coach Sam to compare Shurmur’s call to go for it on 4th and 4 on their own 28 to Coach Sam’s infamous questionable call, ‘Red Right 88.’ Coach broke down his decision, and the reasons why he opted not to kick a field goal and compared himself to Shurmur. Coach said Shurmur is too involved with game decisions and should let his coordinators and assistants have more influence. Coach Sam did point out some positive in the game, particularly on defense, and criticized the overall play calling down by the red zone.
