Kiley & Booms

Happen to miss the show this morning? If you did, well, don’t let it happen again. Here’s a taste of what was discussed.

6:05 - It’s Election Day 2012 and Kiley and Booms started the show by talking about the election as well as going over the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy in New York and New Jersey. The guys talked about some of the more troubling stories in the area, and Booms sounded off on the response to the area and the media converage.

7:25 - The Presidential candidates appeared on Monday Night Football last night and Kiley and Booms commented on this as well as talking about the game and the free fall of Michael Vick. Chuck claimed the media and a certain four letter network are responsible for building Michael Vick up and not criticizing him fairly as a quarterback.

8:06 - It’s Kiley and Booms Election Day special, but that doesn’t mean a healthy dose of sports opinion. After starting the top of the hour with clips from Obama and Romney at the Al Smith Dinner, the guys talked about the passing of ESPN radio broadcaster Jim Durham, and asked the question: What athlete, current or former, would have made a good president?

9:06 - Pat Shurmur almost survived the Election Day show, but Kiley and Booms saved the Browns head coach for the 9 o’clock hour. The guys dissected Shurmur’s comments in his Monday press conference and agreed he threw quarterback Brandon Weeden under the bus.

9:44 - Lewis from ‘Brewmeister’ in Scotland called in from across the pond to talk about the new beer his brewery has concocted, ‘The Armageddon,’ a 65% alcohol content beverage. Lewis talked about the beer and its growing popularity in the States. Lewis schooled the guys on his strong libation and about the drinking culture in Scotland.
