CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – As the Cavs continue their road trip out west with a game against the Phoenix Suns on Friday night, the team announced a couple players still trying to get over some injuries.
Guard Kyrie Irving did not practice with the team today due to gastroenteritis, and the team says he’s probable for tomorrow night’s game. Fellow starting guard Dion Waiters didn’t practice as he’s dealing with a right quad contusion.
The Cavs say he’s 50-50 for the game vs the Suns. C.J. Miles didn’t practice today, like Irving, due to gastroenteritis, and is 50-50 for tomorrow in Phoenix.
In the good news department, center Anderson Varejao did take the court today, this after missing Wednesday’s loss to the Warriors as he deals with a contusion on his right knee.
The team says he’s probable for the game vs the Suns Friday night.
