CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Browns will not have cornerback Joe Haden Sunday when they take on the Dallas Cowboys.
Haden did not practice Thursday and Friday after sustaining an oblique injury Wednesday.
No Haden means that the Browns’ secondary will try to slow down Cowboys receivers Dez Bryant and Miles Austin.
Buster Skrine will start in Haden’s place with Trevin Wade at nickel.
The Browns are 2-3 with Haden and 0-4 without him this season.
Corner Dimitri Patterson will miss his 5th straight game with a left ankle sprain.
Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray, who has run for 330 yards and a touchdown this season, will not go for Dallas. He misses his 5th straight game with a foot injury.
Also inactive for the Browns: Special teamer Ray Ventrone, RB Brandon Jackson, FB Owen Marecic, DL Ronnie Cameron and OL Jarrod Shaw.
