WOIO’s Tony Zarrella Says Pat Shurmur Needs To Attack When Offense Has The Ball

Tony Zarrella, the sports director at 19 Action News and host of Tailgate 19, came on the air this morning to the Browns 23-20 overtime loss to the Cowboys yesterday afternoon. Tony mentioned that on Tailgate 19, former Browns and Mentor Lake Catholic WR Joe Jurevicius said that the Dallas receivers will be licking their chops seeing Joe Haden in a sweatshirt. Jurevicius’ prediction turned out to be accurate, as Tony Romo as his receivers came to life in the second half and overtime. Tony’s biggest criticism was to coach Pat Shurmur’s continued habit of not attacking with the football and being too conservative while holding a lead.
