Haden, Skrine To Play; Steelers Shorthanded Sunday

CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Browns will have at least 1 advantage Sunday afternoon against the Pittsburgh Steelers – health.

Cornerbacks Joe Haden and Buster Skrine are active and will play. Haden sat out last week’s loss at Dallas with an oblique injury while Skrine sustained a head injury late in the 4th quarter.

Cornerback Dimitri Patterson will miss his 6th straight game with an ankle injury.

Receiver Josh Cooper, running back Brandon Jackson, special teamer Ray Ventrone, fullback Owen Marecic, offensive lineman Jarrod Shaw and defensive lineman Ronnie Cameron are also inactive for the Browns.

The Steelers will start 3rd string quarterback Charlie Batch with starter Ben Roethlisberger and backup Byron Leftwich sidelined with injuries.

Receiver Antonio Brown hoped to play but won’t for Pittsburgh along with safety Troy Polamalu and receiver Jerricho Cotchery.
