“Top Dawg” himself, Hanford Dixon called into Kiley and Booms to talk about all things Browns. Hanford weighed in on the Brandon Weeden/Colt McCoy debate and said Weeden is the future and the Browns should stay with him even if McCoy performs well if he starts against the Raiders. Hanford called McCoy “a good back up” and insists that Brandon Weeden will only get better, and reminded everyone he is still a rookie, despite his advanced age. Hanford also talked about the strengths of the team, the defense in particular, and Trent Richardson’s running style. Top Dawg wrapped up the interview with his thoughts on TJ Ward’s big hit that got him penalized in the Dallas game and said he thinks they are making the game too soft.
