Tony Zarrella, the sports director at 19 Action News and host of Tailgate 19, came on the air this morning to happy and optimistic following the Browns 20-17 victory in Oakland. Tony enjoyed ribbing Booms for being negative, and failing to acknowledge the positive in the game, especially the final 14-play, 94-yard drive that ate 6 minutes off the clock and ended with the game winning touchdown. Tony did agree that Weeden’s bad throws are alarming, but not as bad as the Raiders clock management. Tony also discussed Jovan Belcher’s tragic murder-suicide as well as a suicide by a Browns groundscrew worker at the practice facility in Berea.
