WJW/Fox 8 sports director John Telich called in and talked with Kiley and Booms about Sunday’s match-up against the Chiefs. John also weighed in on the Indians and their activity during the MLB Winter Meetings. John said the Indians are in a tough spot that have to convince the better free agents to come here and play and is worried that the current front office thinks this team can compete in 2013. John moved on to the Browns-Chiefs game, and praised Romeo Crennell, the man, for his handling of the Jovan Belcher situation. John said he likes what is happening in Berea, especially on defense, and said Brandon Weeden’s 14-play 94-yard in Oakland may have been the maturation we have been asking for.
