Calling all Northeast Ohio adult football players! Do you think you have what it takes to play in the Arena Football League? If so, here’s your chance to prove it. The Cleveland Gladiators will be hosting open player tryouts this Sunday, December 9th, providing an exciting opportunity for players to compete for a chance to make the team’s 2013 roster.

Tryouts will take place at the team’s official practice facility, MultiPlex Events & Sports Center at The Word Church (18909 South Miles Rd, Warrensville Heights, 44128). Registration will be 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. ($75.00 fee), followed by tryouts 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
“Open tryouts give players an opportunity to showcase their skills in hopes of playing professional football,” said Gladiators head coach Steve Thonn. “Last season we signed two players – Ron Haver and Lenny Wicks – based off their tryouts.”
The Gladiators will open their fifth season in Cleveland on Sunday, March 24th against the Spokane Shock (1:00 p.m.).

Gladiators season ticket packages are on sale now, including the popular ‘$5 Football Package,’ where fans can lock in their own 10-game package with an initial payment of only $5 and receive a signed Bernie Kosar football. Group tickets and birthday bash packages for 10 or more are also currently available for the 2013 Gladiators season. Single game tickets will go on sale at a later date to be announced.
