Kiley & Booms

Happen to miss the show this morning? If you did, well, don’t let it happen again. Here’s a taste of what was discussed.

6:07 - Kiley started today’s show by reading a story about former Texas Tech coach and new Cincinnati coach, Tommy Tuberville, leaving a dinner with Texas Tech recruits to take a phone call from Cincinnati, and never returned to the dinner.

7:05 - The Cavs completely fell apart in the second half last night, scoring only 23 points in the final two quarters. Booms was critical of head coach Byron Scott for his personnel choices, and Goat B ripped former 4th overall pick Tristan Thompson. The guys analyzed the Cavs roster, and who should be starting.

_______________________________________________

8:24 - Trent Richardson and Alfred Morris, the Redskins rookie running back, grew up together in Pensacola, FL as rivals, playing against each other in pee-wee football and high school. This led to a debate on which running back is better: the 3rd overall pick Richardson, or Morris, the 173rd overall pick.

_______________________________________________

9:44 - Joe Lueken, from Lueken’s Village Foods in Bemidji, Minnesota, called in to talk about his decision to give control of his stores to his employees rather than sell to a big chain, or give the store to his sons, following his retirement.
