Browns Waive CB Patterson

CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Browns waived cornerback Dimitri Patterson the team announced Monday.

Patterson re-signed with the Browns on Mar. 15 for 3-years, $16.05 million contract with $6 million guaranteed including a $3.3 million signing bonus.

He missed 7 games this season with a left ankle injury which he sustained his ankle during week 5’s loss at New York.

Patterson originally signed with the Browns as a free agent in 2011 and appeared in 7 games this season including 4 starts. He totaled 28 tackles and broke up 5 passes.
