Kiley & Booms On Demand Rundown for 12/18

Happen to miss the show this morning? If you did, well, don’t let it happen again. Here’s a taste of what was discussed.

6:22 – Brandon Weeden played a terrible game Sunday against the Redskins and during Monday’s press conference, head coach Pat Shurmur said he didn’t consider benching Weeden in favor of Colt McCoy. Kiley and Booms were baffled by this, considering the implications of the game, but were more baffled at Shurmur’s continuing blind support of Brandon Weeden.

7:05 – One story line from the Browns-Redskins game was the altercation in the stands involving Browns fans and Redskins linebacker London Fletcher’s family. As of Tuesday morning, Fletcher’s family members remained in jail.

8:06 – Kiley and Booms discussed the merits of David Stern scheduling NBA games on Christmas Day. Kiley maintained that it’s these players jobs, and they feel honored, where Booms was outraged they don’t have the day to be with their families.

9:43 – And Noelle Boc from the Children’s Department at the Tewksbury Public Library in Massachusetts called in to talk about the “Tattooed Librarians of Tewksbury” calendar the library is selling for charity.
