CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) - Cleveland Browns returner Josh Cribbs has had it with negative fans on Twitter.
Cribbs, tired of receiving hateful tweets from some fans, let loose Sunday following the Browns’ 34-12 loss to the Denver Broncos.
“I see all the negativity on twitter after I gave my life for this —-. So to all of you who are against me —- all y’all! I’m still gonna do me!,” Cribbs tweeted.
The tweet has since been deleted from his account but has already made its way around the web.
He followed it up with a cleaner version.
“We battle like gladiators on the field every week & we put our all out there, so 2 come off the field to the bs ppl put on twitter smh,” Cribbs tweeted.
Cribbs muffed a punt return in the fourth quarter and Lance Ball recovered for the Broncos at the Browns’ 19. A few plays later, Jacob Hester plunged in from the 1 to extend to a 31-6 lead.
Cribbs, who is in his 8th year with the Browns is scheduled to become a free agent after the season.
