Kiley & Booms

Happen to miss the show this morning? If you did, well, don’t let it happen again. Here’s a taste of what was discussed.

Les Levine and Chris Fillar are in for Kiley and Booms. Here’s what they talked about:

6:03 - Third-string quarterback Thad Lewis is taking reps with starters as Brandon Weeden and Colt McCoy each deal with injured shoulders. This led to Chris and Les going over the now 17 starting QBs the Browns have had since 1999, and asked if there is any Browns fan who has empathy for head coach Pat Shurmur as he approaches perhaps his final game with the Browns.

7:45 - Les and Chris asked the audience to tell them what they would like Pat Shurmur to say before his possible last press conference in Cleveland. Les and Chris read from Twitter and the callers weighed in with what they would like the head coach to say.

8:32 - With the final Browns game of the season on Sunday, Les asked where does the team go next year? Chris and Les both agreed the team looks pretty set in several positions, but not the most important one the quarterback.

9:23 - All morning the guys played some of Pat Shurmur’s quotes from throughout the season, as a remembrance of his press conference wisdom as Browns head coach, and speculated on Browns-Steelers game this Sunday.

9:33 - The Cavs beat the Wizards 87-84 last night for their second win a row, and first “winning streak” of the season. Les and Chris talked about Dan Gilbert and coach Byron Scott “getting a pass” from fans on their struggles, which Les attributed to apathy from Cleveland fans.
