4 Starters Out For Browns In Finale

PITTSBURGH (92.3 The Fan) – There were no surprises when the inactives were announced for the Cleveland Browns prior to the season finale in Pittsburgh.

Running back Trent Richardson, quarterbacks Brandon Weeden and Colt McCoy, cornerback Sheldon Brown and tight end Jordan Cameron were all ruled out on Friday.

Thaddeus Lewis will make his first NFL start in place of Weeden and McCoy. Montario Hardesty starts for Richardson and Buster Skrine for Brown.

With both T.J. Ward and Usama Young on injured reserve, Eric Hagg and Tashaun Gipson start at safety.

Also inactive for the Browns are offensive lineman Jarrod Shaw and linebacker Adrian Moten.

Quarterback Byron Leftwich, cornerbacks Curtis Brown and Justin King, linebacker Marshall McFadden, wide receiver David Gilreath and nose tackles Alameda Ta’amu and Hebron Vangupo are inactive for Pittsburgh.
