Cleveland Stripper In Critical Condition After Falling Off Balcony During Lap Dance
CLEVELAND (CBS Cleveland) – As millions of Americans were saved from going off the fiscal cliff, a stripper fell off a balcony in Cleveland after failing to execute a dance move during a lap dance.
A 22-year-old female stripper landed head first after falling from a botched lap dance early Wednesday morning, and she remains in critical condition. Cleveland police told WEWS-TV that the incident, which happened around 12:40 a.m. at Charlie’s Cabaret, came as the woman was giving a lap dance to a male customer on the second floor of the gentleman’s club.
“He stated that she grabbed the rail, as he was facing away from the balcony, and she tried to complete some sort of dance jump/dance move, and accidentally went head first over the rail,” a police officer wrote in the police report.
According to Cleveland EMS, the woman, whose identity has been withheld, fell about 15 feet from the balcony to the floor. Police said to WEWS-TV that the woman suffered “major head trauma.” Police added that two witnesses ran out of the establishment as soon as the woman fell. One witness who saw the fall said the woman, whose face was covered in blood, wasn’t moving after the fall.
The incident is not considered a criminal case, according to police.
