Kiley & Booms On Demand Rundown for 1/3
Happen to miss the show this morning? If you did, well, don’t let it happen again. Here’s a taste of what was discussed.
6:06 – Longtime Baltimore Raven and a menace to the Cleveland Browns during his career, Ray Lewis announced his retirement yesterday. Lewis is consistently regarded by many to be one the best players in recent history, and may go down as one of the best linebackers ever to play. Despite all this, Lewis’ 2000 murder trial is never mentioned by national pundits and analysts. Kiley and Booms turned the spotlight on Ray Lewis, and discussed the murder trial he was involved in 13 years ago.
6:23 – The Cavs lost yet another game, this time a 97-94 loss to the Sacramento Kings at home. The Cavs are now 7-26 on the season and just 3-11 at home. Kiley and Booms talked about the Cavs, and discussed a potential trade for the Timberwolves’ Kevin Love or the Raptors’ Andrea Bargnani.
8:06 – The Browns reportedly will interview Oregon’s Chip Kelly on Friday for the vacant head coach position. Kiley and Booms debated whether Kelly and his read option offense is the right fit for the team, and can a college coach have great success in the NFL with few having done so.
9:06 – The Chip Kelly discussion was a hot button issue all morning, and Kiley thought the Browns full-court press in Arizona is costing the team its dignity. Chuck and Goat B compared Banner and Haslam’s pursuit over Chip Kelly like hitting on a hot chick at the bar. The guys debated more on the Browns search for a new head coach, and opened up the lines to pro and anti-Chip Kelly callers.
