Kiley & Booms

Happen to miss the show this morning? If you did, well, don’t let it happen again. Here’s a taste of what was discussed.

6:05 - Last night, Alabama beat up on top-ranked Notre Dame 42-14 in the BCS National Championship game. Kiley and Booms discussed the game, as well as what Nick Saban winning another championship could mean to the Browns head coaching search. They opened up the lines, and argued with a caller about the National Championship game.

7:23 - The question Kiley and Booms were throwing around this morning was “Is Nick Saban bored at Alabama, and is it time for him to return to the NFL? Chuck cited examples of others looking for a new challenge, and speculated Saban wants to do the same. The callers weighed in heavily on this debate.

8:23 - Glen Macnow from WIP in Philadelphia called in to talk about the Browns and Eagles courting of Chip Kelly, Joe Banner and the similarities between the two franchises.

9:44 - Chef Tom Seefurth from Mamma Mia Pizza Beer called in to talk about his unique brew, which he and his wife concocted by accident. Chef Tom, who was formally in the real estate business, and his wife’s product started off as a home brew, and eventually lead to saving the Seefurth’s financially, following the house market crash in late 2008. Chef Tom talked about a proposal to appear on the show “Shark Tank,” which he turned down, and admitted he has no trouble with publicity. Chef Tom said they have just shipped their first case of Pizza Beer to Hong Kong, and is getting ready to handle the growth of his company.
