CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Indians will be well represented this spring during the World Baseball Classic.

A total of 6 players will participate and play for their respective countries.

Closer Chris Perez and reliever Vinnie Pestano will pitch for team USA.

Catcher Carlos Santana will play for the Dominican Republic, shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera for his native Venezuela and infielder Mike Aviles and left hander Giovanni Soto for Puerto Rico.

Rosters for the participating countries were announced by Major League Baseball Thursday afternoon.
