WOIO’s Tony Zarrella Says Norv Turner Calling Plays Will Help Chud A Lot

Tony Zarrella, the sports director at 19 Action News and host of Tailgate 19, came on the air this morning to talk about the Browns coaching announcements from yesterday. Among them, Norv Turner was formally introduced as the team’s offensive coordinator. Tony said Turner calling the plays will help Rob Chudzinski a lot in his first year as head coach. Tony talked about everyone knowing Turner would be the OC even before yesterday’s announcement. Tony talked about Pat Shurmur and said he’s ‘doing fine’ after running into him one day. Tony also commented on the Manti Te’o fake girlfriend story and the gay cover-up rumors and then wrapped up his segment by discussing Lance Armstrong’s confession on using PEDs on Oprah last night, and whether Kyrie Irving should be on the NBA All-Star roster.
