Happen to miss the show this morning? If you did, well, don’t let it happen again. Here’s a taste of what was discussed.
7:06 – The Cavs Anderson Varejao will miss the rest of the season with a blood clot in his lung. Kiley and Booms talked about the hard luck forward, and took a call from a fan who had personal knowledge of the injury.
7:24 – Wes Welker’s wife voiced her frustration about the New England Patriots loss in the AFC Championship game on Facebook and drew heat after she made negative comments about Ray Lewis. The guys talked about this and a caller said her receiving implants completely negates her argument.
8:44 – Miami lawyer Larry McGuinness called in to talk about his lawsuit against the San Antonio spurs. McGuinness is suing the Spurs because coach Greg Popovich sent home Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and his other stars before a November 29 game against the Heat in Miami. Popovich said he was giving his players rest, having played several road games in a week stretch. McGuinness, a fan who attended that game, stated his case and maintained Popovich planned sitting his stars at the beginning of the year.
9:44 – Dave, from Combat City in Orlando, FL called in to talk about his establishment. Combat City is a local franchise in the Florida area that offers air soft guns for their customers to go out on the field or range and shoot at each other. Dave talked about how the recent calls for gun reform has affected his business, and exactly what “air soft guns” are and how they handle ‘cheaters’ at Combat City.
