MVP from Super Bowl XXXI and a Heisman winner at the University of Michigan, Desmond Howard called in to talk about college football, this weekend’s Super Bowl and the Boys and Girls Clubs for America. Desmond commented on whether Ohio State should’ve played in the BCS Championship game. Desmond broke down the strengths of last year’s Ohio State team, but agrees they shouldn’t have been allowed to play in the game. Desmond also commented on 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver’s anti-gay comments made recently at the Super Bowl media day. Desmond called in to promote the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, who is starting over 1000 football programs for kids in several communities. Desmond wrapped up his segment by predicting a Ravens win in Super Bowl XLVII.
