Cleveland (92.3 The Fan) - The block “O” with “Ohio State” written across it has been the iconic logo used by Ohio State University’s athletic teams for a very long time, but the marketing department of the school is prepared to make an alteration.

The words “Ohio State” on the logo will now be filled-in completely black, as opposed to the two colored blocks we’re all used to. The change appears to be drawing some backlash from university blogs, students, and columnists in Columbus.

Changes are also being made to the University seal, as well as the academic logo.
