Kiley & Booms

Happen to miss the show this morning? If you did, well, don’t let it happen again. Here’s a taste of what was discussed.

6:06 - The guys started today’s show by discussion Kyrie Irving’s place on the NBA All-star roster. Rumors that East coach Erik Spoelstra may play LeBron James at point guard in the game, which Booms felt was a slight to Kyrie Irving. This sparked debate between Kiley and Booms and Goat B about Kyrie Irving, the “superstar”.

8:06 - British talk show host Piers Morgan took to Twitter following the Super Bowl and criticized the Ravens dubbing themselves “world champions,” where only the United States participates in the NFL. Kiley and Booms discussed the merits of Morgan’s statement, and compared it to the championships in the other major sports.

8:23 - Ari Sherwin, the president and CEO of SporTech Inc. and former Olympic weightlifter, called in to talk with Kiley and Booms about athletes using performance enhancing drugs. Sherwin, who competed drug free, is the founder of the nationally-recognized anti-drug and health awareness program “Drugs In Sports…A Deadly Game.” Ari spoke with the guys how athletes cheated the system and the methods they used to conceal their drug use.

9:23 - Brian Davis, the TV voice of the Oklahoma City Thunder, called in to give an outside opinion on the “Kyrie Irving: Superstar?” debate.
