WJW/Fox 8 sports director John Telich called in as he does every Wednesday to talk with Kiley and Booms. John joined the conversation with the guys about National Signing Day, and how a parent can help their kid to make the right decision while being recruited. John brought up how competitive the recruiting process can be, referring to the different schools as ‘vultures,’ fighting over potential recruits. John talked about trying to steer your kid in the right direction, but ultimately the decision is part of that kid growing up, and parents may have to back off a little if trying to convince their child to go to one school over another. John also talked about the Cavs, and complimented Chris Grant’s recent trades to bring in veteran guard Shaun Livingston for bench support, and forward Marreese Speights, among others.
