Kiley & Booms On Demand Rundown for 2/14

Happen to miss the show this morning? If you did, well, don’t let it happen again. Here’s a taste of what was discussed.

Anthony Lima in for Booms today.

6:23 – The Cavs lost a close game last night to the Spurs, 96-95. The Spurs, who hold the NBA’s best record, needed a 3-point shot with 2.9 seconds left to beat the Cavs. Kiley and Lima talked about the Cavs and the lack of defense from Kyrie Irving and the rest of the roster.

7:44 – Every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:40 is Ahead or Behind on Kiley and Booms. Today’s list was a special, Valentine’s Day list, featuring the best love songs of all time. You can find the complete list here.

8:06 – ESPN NFL draft expert, Mel Kiper Jr., claimed Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden would be the first quarterback picked in this year’s draft. Kiley and Lima discussed Brandon Weeden’s rookie season, and talked about the class of 2012 rookie quarterbacks.

8:44 – Yesterday, Kiley and Booms spoke with Tyrone Terrill, chairman for the African-American leadership council in St. Paul, MN to talk about his views that the Minnesota Timberwolves roster is “too white.” Today, we replayed that interview, and you can listen to it below.

9:48 – James and Melissa Jones called in from an Orlando hospital to talk about the best Valentine’s Gift of all: Melissa donated a kidney to save her husband James. The couple talked about the life-saving procedure, how the couple met, and the odds of her being a match to donate a kidney.
