Dee Milliner, CB, ALABAMA
INDIANAPOLIS (92.3 The Fan) – For the second straight year, a potential first round draft pick for the Browns from Alabama has medical concerns.
Last year it was running back Trent Richardson, this year Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner.
Milliner, who is the highest rated corner in the draft, will undergo surgery to repair a torn labrum ESPN reported Thursday morning.
Tony Fleming, one of Milliner’s agents, told the network that Milliner sustained the injury last season and played through it. Despite the injury, Milliner is expected to participate in all of the drills at the combine, however, he will not be able to participate in Alabama’s pro day on March 13.
Many draft experts projected Milliner as a top 10 draft pick and the Browns are in need of a corner to put opposite Joe Haden.
