Former NBA player and current college basketball analyst called in to recap the Big Ten Conference tournament this past weekend. Rick praised the MVP of the tournament, Ohio State’s Aaron Craft. Rick called Craft a “floor general” and compared him to former Michigan St. guard Scott Skiles. Rick commented on Indiana’s early exit in the conference tournament, but warned doubters to not sleep on the Hoosiers, as once they get going are a very dangerous team. Rick talked about how physical teams manage their play-style to the game’s officials. Rick said, especially this year with a lot of parity, that a defensive team has the advantage in the tournament. Rick talked about the different Big 10 team’s in the NCAA tournament, and which schools are due for an upset, and which schools may be poised for a first round exit.
