Former Buckeye Devon Smith, now an assistant coach at Wichita State, talked to Baskin & Phelps to talk about the Buckeyes matchup vs. the Shockers. Smith discusses his time in Columbus and coaching against his team from his playing days. He says that Eddie Ravenel is underrated and that the team has a lot of heart, which can’t be talked about enough. With all the talent on the team, Smith believes the Buckeyes have the makings of a national championship team. He also says he doesn’t owe Scoonie Penn any shorts either.
