NFL Executive Vice President of Operations Ray Anderson joined Bull & Fox to talk about the NFL’s hopes for a “better, and more protected league”, the instructions for officials to be “aggressive” in enforcing rules against hits to neck and head area, his stance that player will adjust if they are willing to adjust, further study in determining whether further rules need to be implemented regarding hits to the knees, his reaction to Steelers’ safety Ryan Clark’s comments that possible new rules are unfair to defensive players, his thoughts on the upcoming PBS Frontline film on concussions and whether the league has a problem with it, the process the league goes about in assigning fines to players that have made an illegal hit and/or break NFL rules and the future for players that violate the rules multiple times.
