Ex-Navy SEAL Shot In Broad Daylight, Chases Attackers
BATH TOWNSHIP, Ohio (CBS Cleveland) – Don’t mess with an ex Navy SEAL.
44-year-old Christopher Heben was shot in the stomach, plugged the wound with his fingers,chased the attackers in his car, drove himself to the hospital then gave Bath Township police a description of the vehicle, reports the Akron Beacon-Journal.
Heben served in Iraq, Africa, Pakistan and Afghanistan, according to his website. After SEAL Team Six killed Osama bin Laden, He became a much sought-after analyst for many media outlets.
Police say Heben described the vehicle he was chasing as a gray, low-profile sports car with a raised spoiler on the trunk, black rims and dark tinted side and back windows.
He thanked his supporters on his Facebook page. “It definitely keeps me going! I’ve been up walking around, yesterday and again this morning. The nurses are telling me to ‘take it slow’…..YEAH RIGHT! Had the NG tube taken out at 10 p.m. last night, felt like a new man and actually got 3 hours of sleep last night.”
Police are asking the public for any information about the shooting.
