Three-time NBA champion LeBron James may be a superstar, but that doesn’t mean he’s excused himself from cleaning up after his teammates.
LeBron was unhappy after the Cavs preseason game at the Q on Saturday night, but it had nothing to do with the game.
Here’s what what happened on Saturday, via Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com:
[James] took not just his own laundry bag to the locker room attendants, but picked up off the floor an additional five or six laundry sacks that were strewn about The Q locker room by teammates who had left.
“Hopefully I only have to say something once,” James said, promising to address the laundry littering with the Cavs. “Can’t leave the locker room like that.”
Not sure how widely known that was, but now we know James is both respectful and clean. And now, no doubt, the Cavs will be too.
James is a father of two pre-teen boys, so he’s probably used to cleaning up around the house. But not after his teammates.
Things will probably change inside the locker room for the Cavs, soon. When LeBron says something, you better listen.
