For instance, Bremec on the Heights will be featuring major discounts on holiday ornaments on Nov. 26. That means Clevelanders can create the beautiful and elaborate Christmas displays they’ve always dreamed of at a significant bargain. Bremec on the Heights sale will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

And the independent bookstore will be hosting a very appealing Small Business Saturday event. Hazelmade creator Susan Rich will be on hand, as will historical fiction author and jewelry designer Marsha Everett. Apple Tree’s sale will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

One of the biggest drawbacks to shopping on Small Business Saturday is having to brave inclement weather to find a host of bargains spread out across several different locations. Hartville Marketplace & Flea Market’s Small Business Saturday event takes care of that issue as it features more than 50 boutique retailers in one indoor complex. Expect incredible deals on authentic Amish furniture, rare and vintage books and a variety of gourmet meats, cheeses and chocolates. Additionally, the marketplace features a fresh grill cafeteria, so shoppers can refuel with some tasty eats in between shopping. The Hartville Marketplace’s sale will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
