The Cleveland Indians (2-1-1) dropped their first game of Spring Training on Tuesday, falling to the Oakland A’s, 5-4.
Rangel Ravelo’s 8th inning home run broke a 4-4 tie to give Oakland the win.
Erik Gonzalez was the only Indian hitter with multiple hits, while Abraham Almonte doubled and scored twice. Chris Colabello hit a solo shot in the 7th.
Trevor Bauer will make his spring debut on Wednesday against the Seattle Mariners at 3:05 PM EST. Drew Smyly will go for Seattle.
