Cleveland Indians Drop Second Straight of Spring, 7-4, to Seattle

The Cleveland Indians dropped their second straight game in Cactus League play, falling at the hands of the Mariners, 7-4, at Goodyear Ballpark.
Trevor Bauer looked sharp in his debut, tossing three scoreless innings, allowing four hits and picking up a strikeout. Michael Martinez opened the game with a solo shot in the third inning, but the Mariners responded with five runs in the sixth. The Tribe put up three in the seventh, with two more off the bat of Martinez, but did not recover fully.
Ryan Merritt struggled, allowing five earned on five hits in 1 1/3 innings.
The Indians look to get off the schneid against the Dodgers tomorrow at 3:05 PM EST. Danny Salazar will return to the hill against lefty Clayton Kershaw.
