Cavaliers Officially Sign Forward Derrick Williams For Remainder of Season

The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed forward Derrick Williams to a contract for the rest of the 2016-17 season.

Williams originally signed on a 10-day contract, before signing another, averaging 10.1 points and 3.1 rebounds a game over nine games. The forward has also seen a renaissance in his shooting, carrying a .667 eFG% through a small sample size, while his next highest at any stop was .498 with Sacramento in 2014-15.

Williams is still just 25 years old.
