The Cleveland Indians parked four balls over the fence as they defeated the San Diego Padres 11-3 to win their third straight game on Sunday.
Ronnie Rodriguez, Willy Mo Pena, Francisco Mejia and Eric Stamets all contributed a home run on the afternoon. Mejia homered in his second consecutive game and Stamets gave the Tribe back-to-back games with a grand slam. Lonnie Chisenhall chipped in with three hits of his own.
Corey Kluber made his second start of the spring allowing two earned runs on five hits and four strikeouts in his four innings of work. Boone Logan and Kyle Crockett each followed Kluber with a scoreless inning apiece.
First basemen Nellie Rodriguez left the game with a sprained ankle in the fourth inning.
Carlos Carrasco will make his fourth start of the spring on Monday when he faces off with Carson Fulmer of the Chicago White Sox. First pitch is set for 4:05 PM EST.
