Reports: Jeter and Bush Win Bid For Miami Marlins

MIAMI, Fla. — According to Scott Soshnick of Bloomberg, the group led by former Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter and former Florida governor Jeb Bush have won the bid to buy the Miami Marlins from owner Jeffrey Loria.

Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald tweeted the two sides have agreed to the deal for $1.3 billion.

Loria has owned the Marlins since 2003.
