OWING MILLS, Md. — When the Browns face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2 on Sept. 17, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco may be taking his first practice and game reps of the season.
According to NFL.com, Flacco has a disc issue in his back and will definitely miss the first week of camp and could miss up to six weeks. However, a tweet from NFL Insider Adam Schefter said a source within the team does not believe Flacco will be out for more than a week. The Ravens open up their preseason at home against the Washington Redskins on Aug. 10.
Flacco threw for 4,317 passing yards, 20 touchdowns and 15 interceptions last season for Baltimore.
